About Kansas Watch.
This website provides news, views, and analysis of Kansas politics from a progressive/Democratic point of view.
The main author is Todd D. Epp, a 1977 graduate of Augusta (KS) High School, a 1981 graduate of Washburn University of Topeka, and a 1984 graduate of Washburn Law School. From 1978 to 1986, he worked as a reporter and producer for KTWU-TV in Topeka, covering the Kansas Legislature from 1981 to 1986. He also penned several lengthy freelance articles on his travels to China, Israel and Palestine in the Topeka Capitoal Journal. Epp went on to a broadcast career in South Dakota, where he now practices law.
The “big brother” of this site is South Dakota Watch which covers South Dakota politics.
